Jaipur/IBNS: A six-year old girl from Rajasthan's Tonk district, who went missing since Saturday, was allegedly raped and strangled with her school belt, police said as NDTV reported.

The girl went missing after a sports competition held at the school on Saturday.

As the girl didn't reach home by 3 pm on Saturday, her family searched at farms and relatives' houses.

The victim's blood-stained body was found about half-a-km away from her school.

The girl's body was taken elsewhere for a port-mortem as the village does not have the facility.
