Srinagar, Apr 17 (IBNS): Kashmir government snapped mobile Internet services across Kashmir on Monday afternoon as student protested across the Valley following the thrashing of students of Pulwama Degree College by government forces last week.

"Authorities feel there has been an attempt to spread fear and show security personnel in a bad light through online videos," said police officer.

However, broadband service on landline connections are working.

Earlier, authorities had on Apr 8 midnight snapped both  landline and broadband internet services on the eve of by-polls to Srinagar parliamentary seat.
