Panaji/UNI: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee Saturday claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was going stronger due to Congress.

Speaking at an event here, the Trinamool Congress (TMC) chief said, "They (Congress) had enough opportunities but they didn't act. Modi is more powerful due to Congress. Why did Congress contest against me in West Bengal?"

"Congress is the TRP of Modi ji. Enough is enough," she said.

"I am not going to say much about Congress. I have my own regional party," she said, when queried further.

She was asked about the possibility of alliance with Congress in the assembly and Lok sabha polls.

On the third day of her Goa campaign, Banerjee hit out at the Centre and alleged that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s 'Achhe Din' was nothing but a big lie.

Speaking at an event here, she said, "Petrol, diesel prices are at an all time high. Export is low. Unemployment is also at an all time high. Achhe Din slogan of the BJP was a lie."

She alleged that the Centre did not care about farmers who were protesting for so many months.

Criticising further, the Modi government was showing fake data regarding COVID-19 vaccination as only 29 per cent of the people had been vaccinated.

There was no clarity on the Prime Minister's Relief Fund.
