Modi Govt with Indian Army or China? Rahul Gandhi's latest jibe at Centre

New Delhi/IBNS: In his latest jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday tweeted a 'chronology' of events related to the issue of India-China and asked if the central government is with the Indian army or supporting Beijing.

Rahul claimed that after PM Modi had assured that China had not crossed into the Indian territory, the Centre "took a huge loan from a China-based bank".

In his tweet, the former Congress chief has also asked why is PM Modi "so scared".

"Understand the chronology:
šŸ”¹PM said- no one crossed the border
šŸ”¹Then, took a huge loan from a China-based bank
šŸ”¹Then, Def Min said- China occupied our land
šŸ”¹Now, MOS Home says- thereā€™s no infiltration.
Is Modi Govt with Indian Army or with China?
Modi ji, why so scared?" his tweet read.

On Tuesday, Rahul Gandhi slammed PM Modi for misleading citizens on the row with China after Defence Minister Rajnath Singh made a statement in the Parliament saying China "does not recognise the current boundary (Line of Actual Control)" and had attempted to transgress it.

The Congress MP had said the Prime Minister should not be afraid of taking China's name.

Rahul Gandhi has been attacking the Centre and PM Modi over the stand-off with China since the time of Ladakh clash along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) on June 15.

His current allegations have particular reference to Modi's statement at an all-party meeting in June days after the deadly clash with Chinese troops at the Galwan Valley in Eastern Ladakh which left 20 Indian soldiers martyred.

In the statement, Modi had said, "Neither anyone got inside our territory nor is any of our post captured."

Gandhi had earlier too claimed that PM Modi is afraid of the Chinese.Ā
