Mumbai Blast Case: Convicted Abu Salem, Karimullah get life imprisonment

Mumbai, Sep 7 (IBNS): Abu Salem and Karimullah, two of the convicts in the 1993 Mumbai Blast Case, have been handed over life imprisonment by a special TADA court on Thursday.

Along with the life terms, both have been fined two lakh rupees.

The court had convicted five men in June this year.

The convicts are Feroz Abdul Rashid Khan, Taher Merchant, Karimullah Khan, Abu Salem and Riyaz Siddiqui.

The court found them guilty of conspiracy and terror activities in connection with the case.

Apart from Salem and Karimullah, other convicts are yet to be sentenced by the court.
