Mumbai: Dhirubhai Ambani International School receives bomb threat, FIR registered

Mumbai: Dhirubhai Ambani International School in Mumbai on Tuesday received a threat call, after which police registered an FIR, media reports said.

News agency ANI reported citing police sources that the school received the threat call at 4:30 pm on the landline of the school on Tuesday.

The caller claimed to have planted a timebomb in the school and disconnected the call, said the report.

Police registered a case against the unknown caller under sections 505 (1) (B) and 506 of the IPC at BKC police station, ANI reported.

Mumbai Police said that it has traced the caller and will soon make the arrest.

Last October, a threat call was received at HN Reliance Foundation Hospital during which the unknown caller threatened to blow up the hospital and issued death threats to the Ambani family.
