| @indiablooms | Nov 15, 2020, at 11:40 pm

Mumbai/IBNS: Mumbai's iconic Siddhivinayak Temple will open from November 16 as the Maharashtra government has decided to reopen all places of worship which were closed in March in view of Covid-19.

A list of Standard Operating Procedures (SoPs) to ensure the safety of devotees has been released.

The Siddhivinayak Temple administration has released a dedicated app to provide a slew of services. The devotees can learn about the darshan timings and book slots for the same.

Darshan can also be booked by generating a QR code at the temple counter.

Once the QR code is generated, devotees have to show it at the entrance gate of the temple.

All the visitors have to undergo thermal screening and wear masks.

Senior citizens are advised to stay at home.

Maharashtra has recorded more than 17.4 lakh cases so far, with nearly 46,000 deaths. However, gradually the number of active cases in the state has dropped and now it stands at 85,000, with over 16 lakh recovering from the infection.
