Nagaland: 124 nominations file for assembly polls

Kohima/UNI: Altogether a total of 124 candidates have filed their nomination papers for the coming 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly Elections till Monday.

Official sources said that reports from several districts are still awaited for the details and names of the candidates, who filed nomination papers, however, according to the documents at the office of

The Nagaland CEO informed that Mokokchung district had the most number of nomination papers filed with 19, which is followed by Mon with 17 nomination papers, Kohima with 13, Wokha with 13 and Phek with 13 nomination papers.

The last day for filing nominations is on Tuesday and the date of polling is February 27.
