Nalini Chidambaram summoned by Enforcement Directorate in connection with Saradha scam

New Delhi, Aug 24 (IBNS) : The Enforcement Directorate has summoned former Finance Minister P. Chidamabram's wife, Nalini Chidambaram, in connection with the Saradha chit fund scam case.

Reports said  Chidambaram has been asked to appear in the ED office in  Kolkata in the first week of September.

She was the lawyer for drafting a contract for  Maoranjana Sinh, the estranged wife of former Union Minister Matang Sinh-both under CBI arrest in connection with the Saradha scam.

ED is looking into the alleged money laundering aspect involved in the case.

Nalini Chidambaram was earlier questioned by the ED and CBI.
