Narendra Modi and Nitish Kumar on same platform to befool people: Tejaswi

| @indiablooms | Apr 06, 2019, at 09:40 pm

Patna, Apr 06 (UNI) Leader of the opposition in Bihar assembly Tejaswi Prasad Yadav today accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar of coming together to befool the people by making lofty promises again.

Yadav tweeted that Mr Modi was known for making lofty promises without being concerned to fulfill them while Mr Kumar had earned the nick name 'Paltu Ram' (A person who takes U turn) after dumping Grand Alliance to join NDA in 201.

Kumar had won election as a Grand Alliance candidate for chief ministership in 2015 Bihar assembly elections but in less than two years, he dumped the alliance to join hands with BJP to form NDA government in the state, he pointed out.

Leader of the opposition said that facts mentioned in a book 'Gopalganj to Raisina: My political journey' authored by RJD chief Lalu Prasad, were true and all evidences were available with them. If Kumar had courage, he should come in public to deny the charges levelled against him in the book, he challenged. No one could give guarantee on whether Kumar would dump BJP again after 2019 Lok Sabha elections, he remarked.

Yadav said Kumar wanted to return to Grand Alliance, deserting BJP within six months of joining hands with the party in 2017, but RJD chief Mr Prasad had refused to ally with him.

Kumar should come in open to deny the allegation and not try to operate through others, he suggested.
