Narendra Modi dividing India on communal lines: Virbhadra Singh

Shimla/UNI: Former Union Minister and Ex-chief Minister Virbhadra Singh on Saturday lashed out PM Narendra Modi-led government alleging that it was dividing the people on the communal lines and working on the fixed agenda.

He was speaking after paying tribute to father of nation Mahatma Gandhi on the Ridge ground Shimla on the occasion Indian National Congress foundation day function today.

Flaging the statwide level ,'save constitution' rally organised by the Congress state Committee, he said that NDA government is tempering with the constitution to play communal agenda.

He said that nation is passing through difficult time as it is in economic and political turmoil due to inapt handling of the National affairs.

Refuting the Modi-Shah government to not bring consensus among the all opposition parties before bringing CAB in the parliament he said that Citizen Amendment Act was passed in unspeakable hurry would prove major challenge to the unity of the country,

Speaking on the completion of two years of Jai Ram Thakur Government octogenarian Congress leader said that nothing is visible on the ground in the name of development in the state.
