“When the party became a family party, then the owners makes the son as the party president whether he is fit for it or not... Hard work does not a matter. He is born in the family, that’s all,” Shah said.
“The party which is not democratic cannot strengthen the country's democracy,” Shah said.
Amit Shah added that there were many political parties working to strengthen the country's democracy in their own way, but the BJP is a different kind of political party.
“Our party’s internal democracy has kept equality today. BJP is not a family party. BJP is a party of its workers. BJP is not a regional political party... it is a party spreading from Kamrup to Kutch and Kashmir to Kanyakumari,” Amit Shah said.
