Ola terminates service of driver detained for allegedly molesting Belgian woman

New Delhi, May 8 (IBNS) App based taxi service provider Ola on Sunday said it has terminated the service of its driver who was detained for allegedly molesting a 23-year-old girl from Belgium.

"The said driver has been terminated from the platform with immediate effect. We will share all required information with the authorities to help resolve this for the customer. We have zero tolerance to such behaviour from drivers on the platform," read the statement  issued Ola.

According to reports, the driver has been identified as Raj Singh.

The incident reportedly occurred when the victim was on her way from Gurgaon to CR Park on Saturday.

The victim lodged a complaint at the CR Park police station.
