Only BJP can make Assam free from illegal Bangladeshi immigrants: Amit Shah
During a public rally held in Guwahati, the BJP president said that illegal Bangladeshi immigration is a big problem for Assam and it is a 'problem for the nation'.
"Only BJP will tackle the problem of illegal migration from neighboring Bangladesh. Our top priority is to develop Assam and make the state terrorism free, " Amit Shah said.
Highlighting the achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government, he claimed that prices of essential commodities had been increasing during the tenure of the Congress- led UPA government, but the Centre has controlled that price hike.
Attacking Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Vice President Rahul Gandhi, the BJP president said many scams were unearthed during the 10 years of the UPA government.
"We have looked to make a corruption free India, " Shah said.
"Congress is a corruption party and they loots India," Shah said.
"Rahul baba had not seen anything changing in present India, developing India. Change your mindset," the BJP president said.
He claimed that his party will win the next assembly polls in Assam and other states in India.
"The people of the state will make a Congress free Assam, " Amit Shah said.
During his last leg tour in the eight days visit to the North Eastern region, the BJP president claimed that the country's security scenario has improved since the Modi government came to power.
