Pakistan says no to India's claim about Pathankot Airbase incident

Islamabad/New Delhi, Feb 8 (IBNS) Rejecting India's claim of Jaish-e-Mohammed's involvement in the Pathankot Airbase attack of January, Pakistan on Monday said it found nothing substantial against the fringe group and its leader, according to an NDTV report.
India has stated that Maulana Masood Azhar, a cleric and leader of JeM was responsible for the attack which claimed seven lives.

India's request for strong punishment was not only rejected but it also added to the long list of denial from the neighbouring country, who has faced sharp criticism for having a easy go attitude towards terror groups.

According to reports, the latest development from Pakistan's side is bound to delay a dialogue between the two neighbouring states.

On 2 Jan, a heavily armed group attacked the Pathankot Air Force Station, part of the Western Air Command of the Indian Air Force.

Five terrorists and three Indian security men died in the gun-battle that raged for a long time.
