PM informally interacts with IAS officers participating in mid-career training programme

New Delhi, Oct 12 (IBNS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday interacted informally with about 100 senior IAS officers of Joint Secretary and Additional Secretary rank, participating in a mid-career training programme.

During the interaction, the officers shared their experiences in areas such as development works; agriculture, irrigation and food-processing; inflation; public health; tribal and social welfare; female foeticide; and skill development.

The Prime Minister appreciated the thoughts and suggestions expressed by the officers. He emphasized the importance of continuous innovation and enhancement of administrative capacities and processes.

He spoke of the importance of judicious use of technology and infrastructure in administration, and also mentioned his interaction with various Ministries and State Governments through the PRAGATI platform.

He urged officers to work with mutual team spirit and trust.
