PM Modi arrives in Uttarakhand, received by Governor

Dehra Dun, Dec 27 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Dehradun, Uttarakhand on Tuesday where he was received by Governor KK Paul and other dignitaries, according to media reports.

Before leaving New Delhi, Prime Minister Modi had tweeted, "Will visit Devbhoomi Uttarakhand today for the inauguration of a key infrastructure project, the Char Dham highway development programme."

He said that the Char Dham highway project will lead to creation of over 900 km of roads and connectivity and tourism will get a strong boost through the project.

The PM is likely to address a public gathering in Dehra Dun.
