PM Modi congratulates tennis players Sania Mirza, Martina Hingis on winning Wimbledon women's doubles title

New Delhi, July 12 (IBNS): Prime Minster Narendra Modi has congratulated tennis players Sania Mirza and Martina Hingis on winning Wimbledon women's doubles title.
"Well played Martina Hingis and Sania Mirza. You played wonderful tennis and registered a fantastic win at Wimbledon. We are proud and very happy," the Prime Minister said.
 
Sania along with her partner Martina Hingis bagged the women's double trophy on Saturday.
 
Hingis and Mirza came from a set down and 2-5 behind in the final set to beat Russian duo Ekaterina Makarova and Elena Vesnina 5-7, 7-6 (7/4), 7-5.
