PM Modi pays homage to Birsa Munda on birth anniversary
New Delhi, Nov 15 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday paid homage to tribal freedom fighter Birsa Munda on the latter's birth anniversary.
"I pay homage to Bhagwan Birsa Munda on his birth anniversary and recall his courage & efforts towards empowerment of tribal communities," PM Modi's tweet read.
Munda hailed from Jhankhand, where the state government is celebrating his birth anniversary today.
