PM Narendra Modi strongly condemns the terrorist attack in Kabul

New Delhi, July 24 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Kabul.

The Prime Minister also expressed solidarity with the people and government of Afghanistan in their fight against terrorism.
“Strongly condemn the terrorist attack in Kabul. My heart goes out to the victim's families," he said.

"We stand in solidarity with people and government of Afghanistan in their fight against terrorism,” the Prime Minister said.

At least 24 people were killed in an explosion in Kabul on Monday morning, local Khaama Press reported.

The incident took place at around 7 am in the vicinity of the 3rd police district of the city in West of Kabul, the national capital.

Though the type of the  explosion is yet to be ascertained, police said that it was a suicide attack.

At least 24 people suffered injuries, the interior ministry spokesman Najib Danish said.

Danish said that the suicide bomber detonated a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device.
