Police seize coal laden truck in Assam’s Hojai district

Guwahati/IBNS: Police have seized a coal laden truck in Assam’s Hojai district.

Police said the truck was illegally carrying coal from Dima Hasao district towards Guwahati.

During regular checking, the Hojai district police seized the truck bearing registration number AS-09C-4796 at Lanka area in the central Assam district.

A police officer said that the truck driver didn’t able to show proper documents.

“So we have seized the coal laden truck. The truck had carried coal illegally from Ardha near Haflong in Dima Hasao district,” the police officer said.
