Politicizing is wrong: Prakash Javadekar slams Congress over remarks on 'Delhi violence'
New Delhi/IBNS: Moments after Sonia Gandhi blamed the Bharatiya Janata Party over the Delhi violence which has claimed 20 lives, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar accused the Congress party of playing "dirty politics".
"The Home Minister is continuously working with the police, helping their morale and directing them," Javadekar said.
"Such comments and politics from Congress will not help the morale of the police. We appeal to them to not do politics on the issue," he said.
He said politicisizing a violent incident like the one going on in Delhi is 'wrong'.
"The violence is abating and the investigations have begun and are ongoing. In times like these, all parties should cooperate and work for peace," he said.
"Playing a blame-game at this time is wrong. Politicizing such violence is a wrong way, always used by Congress," the BJP leader said.
Addressing a press conference, Gandhi earlier said, "A BJP leader has repeatedly made provocative statement and gave ultimatum of three days followed by the violence."

Gandhi said her party wants peace committee to be set up at every muhullas.
