President Kovind, PM Modi wish people on Maha Shivaratri

New Delhi, Mar 4 (IBNS): President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday wished all countrymen on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri.

Kovind tweeted, "Greetings and good wishes to all fellow citizens on Mahashivaratri. May the blessings of Lord Shiva bring peace, happiness and prosperity to everyone's lives "

Modi said in a tweet, "#Mahashivratri greetings to everyone. #महाशिवरात्रि के पावन अवसर पर सभी देशवासियों को बहुत-बहुत शुभकामनाएं। ऊँ नम: शिवाय!"

Maha Shivaratri is a Hindu festival which is celebrated in the honour of Lord Shiva annually.
