Prez greets nation on Holi

New Delhi, Mar 24 (IBNS) President Pranab Mukherjee on Thursday, greeted the citizens of India on the occasion of Holi.

"Warm greetings and good wishes to all my fellow countrymen on the joyous occasion of Holi," the President said.

Urging the citizens to be a bit more tolerant towards each other, President Mukherjee said, "Festival of Holi symbolizes vibrant colours of our diverse multicultural society & spirit of tolerance & harmony."

He also wished for a plural India, as he said, "May this unique festival of colours be a joyous expression of the spirit of pluralism."
