Properties worth several lakh of rupees gutted in fire in Assam’s Hojai district

Guwahati/IBNS: Properties worth several lakh of rupees reduced to ashes after a massive fire broke out at a market place in Assam’s Hojai district.

The incident took place at Changmaji area under Doboka police station in Hojai district on Sunday night.

Fire broke out from a grocery shop and it spread to nearby shops, business establishments.

Several shops, business establishments were completely reduced to ashes in the fire incident.

Later, fire tenders and locals had managed to control the situation.
