Nawan Shaher/UNI: A woman, along with her parents, committed suicide by consuming poison five days before her marriage on Tuesday here.

Police said that Yamuna (40) and her parents Jeetram (80) and Channo (78) were found dead, when relatives of the would-be groom visited her house for Shagun, a pre-wedding ritual, this morning.

According to police, Yamuna was reportedly concerned about the well-being of her old parents after her marriage, which was scheduled for January 10.

Yamuna was youngest of eight siblings and while her brother had died some time ago, all six elder sisters were married.
