Rahul Gandhi offers prayers at famous Raghavendra temple in Andhra's Kurnool

Kurnool/IBNS/UNI:  Congress MP Rahul Gandhi Thursday offered prayers at the famous shrine of Raghavendra Swamy at Mantralayam in Andhra Pradesh's Kurnool.

At the end of his day’s Bharat Jodo Yatra, the Wayanad MP offered special prayers at the shrine of Raghavendra Swamy.

Later, Rahul also held a brief meeting in Mantralayam.

Rahul, who is on the 43rd day of his ongoing yatra in the district, will stay the night here and proceed to neighbouring Karnataka again on Friday morning.

The Yatra reached Andhra Pradesh earlier on Oct 18.

Bharat Jodo Yatra which began on Sept 7, will go through up to 12 states.
