Rahul Gandhi,Sonia Gandhi wish President Pranab Mukherjee on birthday

New Delhi, Dec 11 (IBNS): Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Sunday met President Pranab Mukherjee to greet him on his birthday.

Pranab Mukherjee turned 81.

"Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi greeted President Pranab Mukherjee on his Birthday," Congress tweeted.

Congress president Sonia Gandhi also wished the leader on this special day of year.

"Congress President Smt Sonia Gandhi has extended warm wishes to President, Shri Pranab Mukherjee on his birthday, today," the Congress tweeted.

"With prayers for a long & healthy life, Smt Gandhi said, Shri Mukherjee is an inspiration for all who are in public life," the party said.

"His passion for his work & love for country is exemplary, she added. Thanking him," the Congress said.
