Rajnath Singh to visit Arunachal Pradesh today

Itanagar/IBNS: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will visit Arunachal Pradesh’s Tawang and Bum La.

During his two-day visit to Arunachal Pradesh, Rajnath will arrive at Tawang on Thursday, officials said.

A top official of Defence Ministry said that, the Defence Minister will review the preparedness of security along Indo-China border.

It is his first visit to Arunachal Pradesh after taking charge as the Defence Minister.

The top Defence official said that, he will lay wreath on the Tawang War Memorial and visit Indian army post at Bum La (Pass) – the last border security point along Indo-China border.

“The Defence Minister will meet the officials of Indian army and other security agencies to review the preparedness of security along the international border,” the Defence official said.
