Right-wing holds rally in Delhi today to press for Ram Temple in Ayodha

New Delhi, Dec 9 (IBNS): The right wing is holding a rally in Delhi's Ramlila grounds to demand the fast-tracking of the Ram temple at Ayodhya, media reports said.

The rally has been organised by Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), and is also being attended by BJP's ideological mentor-the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).

According to reports, VHP has brought in Ram devotees from the neighbouring districts of Uttar Pradesh, including Ghaziabad, Gautam Budh Nagar, Baghpat and Meerut.

They want the government to pass an ordinance in the winter session of the Parliament to bypass the legal process.

The case of Ayodhya is pending in the Supreme Court.

In January, the apex court is likely to name a date for the beginning of the hearing.
