RPF seizes charas worth nearly Rs 1.40 crore from train

Bettiah, Mar 13 (UNI) Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel seized 7 kg of charas from a general compartment of 15273 Satyagrah Express at Narkatiaganj railway station in West Champaran district today. 

Sources at RPF said here that the consignment was seized from abandoned packets inside a general compartment of Raxaul-New Delhi Satyagrah Express on the basis of specific intelligence input.

The value of seized charas in the international market is around Rs 1.40 crore.


A massive manhunt is on to nab peddlers, sources added.
