S Jaishankar discusses bilateral relationship during his meeting with Qatar PM

Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar visited Qatar on Sunday when he met Prime Minister  Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani and reviewed the bilateral relationship between the two countries.

S Jaishankar posted on X: " Delighted to meet PM and FM of Qatar @MBA_AlThani_in Doha this afternoon. Conveyed the greetings and warm wishes of PM@narendramodi to H.H. The Amir and him."

"Reviewed our bilateral relationship focusing on political, trade, investment, energy, technology, culture and people to people ties," he said.

Jaishankar said he appreciated the PM's insight on the ongoing Gaza situation.

"Exchanged views on regional and global issues,"Jaishankar said.

Gaza has been witnessing violence ever since Hamas attacked Israel on October 7.

Israel launched a campaign in Gaza following the attack.

 Jaishankar further said: " Look forward to the further enhancement of India-Qatar relations and continued dialogue on issues of mutual interest."

Jaishankar visited Qatar on June 30.
