Ludhiana/UNI: Former Punjab chief minister and Shiromani Akali Dal Patron Parkash Singh Badal has tested positive for Covid.

The SAD leader was admitted to Dayanand Medical College and Hospital here.

Hospital sources said the exact health condition of the 94-year-old Akali Dal leader would be known only once the reports of tests come.

Badal was touring his Lambi constituency and met a number of people, including party leaders, in the recent past. He cancelled his scheduled programmes on Tuesday due to backache. He was later tested positive for Covid.
