SC to hear Centre's plea against quashing President's rule in Uttarakhand
Reports said the hearing will start at 3 30 pm.
The apex court bench hearing Centre's plea will be headed by Justice Deepak Misra.
Earlier on Friday, Attorney General Mukul Rohatgi mentioned the matter before the SC bench headed by Justice Deepak Mishra, seeking a stay on the verdict, which has revived the Congress government headed by Harish Rawat.
The Uttarakhand High Court on Thursday set aside the Centre's decision in March to place the hill state under President's Rule.
"The Centre has every right to approach the Supreme Court, but we are confident they won't get any relief," Rawat, who held a Cabinet meeting after the reinstatement, said.
The Uttarakhand High Court has said that Rawat has to take a trust vote on April 29.
The Centre decided to move the Supreme Court at a meeting of the BJP's top leaders at the residence of party president Amit Shah on Thursday evening.
