Security forces arrest 3 'hybrid' militants with arms in Srinagar

Srinagar/IBNS/UNI: Jammu and Kashmir Police and the Indian Army arrested three “hybrid” militants along with a huge consignment of arms and ammunition on the outskirts of Srinagar on Sunday.

“Army (2RR) and Srinagar Police arrested three hybrid terrorists along with a huge consignment of 3 AK rifles, 2 Pistols, 9 Magazines and 200 rounds from outskirts of Srinagar”, a police tweet said.

They said an investigation is going on.

During the investigation, the hybrid terrorist identified as Sajjad Tantray, who was earlier a terrorist associate of LeT, revealed that he had attacked two outside labourers on Nov 13 at Rakhmomen in Anantnag in leaving them seriously injured.
