Seven-day Army recruitment rally for Kashmiri youths in July

Srinagar, May 30 (UNI): The Army will conduct a seven-day rally to recruit soldier general duty (SGD) and clerk, storekeepers and soldier nursing assistant from July 10 in north Kashmir district of Baramulla, a defence ministry spokesman said on Thursday.

Colonel Rajesh Kalia said that army recruitment office, Srinagar, will be hosting a recruitment rally at Haider Beigh, Pattan in Baramulla from July 10 to 16.

He said all districts of the Kashmir valley — Srinagar, Anantnag, Baramulla, Pulwama, Badgam, Kupwara, Shopian, Ganderbal, Bandipora and Kulgam — will be covered.

Recruitments will be made for categories, SGD, soldier clerk, store keeper technical (Clk/SKT), soldier technical and soldier nursing assistant.

He said eligible candidates can register and apply online at website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. Registration will remain open till June 24, 2019.
