Shah lauds Modi, says BJP has fulfilled 90 per cent of poll manifesto
New Delhi/UNI: BJP chief and Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for ending a sort of conflict of interest vis-a-vis foreign policy and country's policy on security and for successfully doing away with three big menaces of Indian politics - caste, appeasement and dynasty.
"Before 2014, there used to be overlap between foreign policy and country's policy on security. Prime Minister Modiji has done away with this overlapping issue," Shah said at release of a book 'Karmayoddha Granth' on the Prime Minister.
He lauded Prime Minister for him being a sensitive person and also providing a credible leadership in the manner a statesman does so.
He said since 1967 till 2014, there have been three major menaces in Indian politics - appeasement, casteism and dynasty and this has been done away with.
Shah also said that hitherto, manifesto used to be regarded as only a 'piece of paper' but since 2014, the ruling BJP has implemented 90 per cent of them.
On matters concerning national's safety and security, Shah said Prime Minister has made it clear that if anyone dares to challenge India security, they will be given a befitting reply.
For years, the BJP chief said people used to fear touching pending and contentious issues such as Article 370, CAA, Triple Talaq and Article 35A but the Prime Minister has worked to bring an end to all pending matters like these.
