Sheena wrote to Indrani to consider her happiness as well: CBI
Mumbai, Nov 21 (IBNS): The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has revealed that Sheena Bora had written to her mother Indrani Mukherjea with a plea of being allowed to take her decisions about her life, reports said.
She asked her mother to be happy about her relationship with Rahul Mukerjea.
"I am very happy and safe with Rahul...shouldn't that be the most important thing for parents/loved ones?," NDTV quoted Bora writing in an email mentioning her relationship with Rahul Mukerjea, before being killed allegedly by Indrani in 2012.
"You did whatever gave you happiness in life...Even I deserve the same. Why are you upset because of it? I am your daughter. I have some of you in me...I will find my way through and be just fine," she wrote.
A CBI chargesheet had earlier claimed that Indrani, Sheena's mother, was afraid that all property of Peter Mukerjea would go to Sheena and Rahul, Peter's son from a previous marriage, if they got married and so, she thus hatched the murder along with her ex-husband Sanjeev Khanna and driver Shyam Rai.
On Friday, media magnate Peter Mukerjea's son Rahul had told the CBI that he got engaged to Sheena in November, 2011 in Dehradun and she had told him in 2008 that she was Indrani's daughter.
He reportedly told the CBI that Indrani, the prime accused in the murder case, had called Sheena on April 24 as she wanted to meet her. Rahul said he dropped Sheena near Indrani's car. Indrani's driver Shyam Rai was also present there, claimed Rahul.
Rahul maintained that he had received a text message from Sheena stating that she would stay overnight at Indrani's place.
