Ranch/UNI: With the growing cases of Coronavirus, the Federation of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industries has decided that apart from the shops which cater to essential services all other shops will remain closed from Friday to Sunday every week.

Addressing a press conference here, chairman of FJCCCI Kunal Ajmani said that the chamber is very much concerned over the rising cases of Coronavirus in the state therefore an unanimous decision has been taken to keep the shops closed in the later half of the week.

Following this strategy, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday the shops apart from those catering to essential services will remain shut.

The Chamber president said that a day earlier the organisation held a virtual meeting with all the 54 traders bodies which are associated with over which everyone expressed their concern over the rising cases of Coronavirus and ways to check the spread was also discussed.

He said, till further orders the shops will remain closed from Friday to Sunday.

He also urged the people to follow the norms of social distancing and use masks and sanitizers whenever they come out of their homes.
