'Son of lion' Tejashwi not scared by BJP 'bravado'
Patna, Apr 7 (UNI): Leader of Opposition in Bihar Assembly and RJD chief Lalu Prasad's son Tejaswi Yadav today came down heavily on the BJP after he was denied a meeting with his father in Ranchi and asserted that he was not going to be scared by BJP's ‘bravado’.
Taking to his official Twitter account to launch a blistering attack on BJP after he was not allowed to meet Mr Prasad in Ranchi, the state capital of BJP ruled Jharkhand, Mr Yadav said: “I am son of lion. I am ‘lal’ (son) of Bihar's great soil. I am not going to be scared by your (BJP) bravado. If you have drunk mother`s milk, fight directly, why are you fighting meekly like cowards?”
In an earlier tweet, Tejaswi said, “I am waiting since Saturday evening to meet my father presently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Ranchi but a dictatorial BJP government is not allowing a son to meet his father. We will inflict a crushing defeat on dictatorial BJP hooligans and fascist government.”
He said that conspiracy was being hatched against his father as raid was being conducted in his room daily even when he was under jail security and was being treated at a hospital.
Tejashwi Yadav claimed that it has been two weeks since the doctors asked his father to undergo some medical tests, but jail officials were not providing security to him to go to another building for the tests. He called it "violation of human rights".
"Two weeks back, doctors had asked the jail officials to get the echocardiography and X-ray done for Lalu ji. But the tests haven't been done so far because security is not being provided for his movement to another building. This is injustice. This is violation of human rights," he wrote in another post.
