Sonia Gandhi to visit Kashmir to pay homage to Mufti Mohammad Sayeed today

Srinagar, Jan 10 (IBNS) Congress supremo Sonia Gandhi is scheduled to visit Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday to pay homage to late Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.

Sayeed passed away in New Delhi on Thursday.

A senior congress leader told IBNS: "We received verbal information about the visit of Sonia to Kashmir were she will per her homage to late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed."

He further said Gandhi will visit the official Fairview residence of Mufti in Srinagar to offer her condolences.
