Srinagar: Three suspected IS-inspired terrorists arrested

Srinagar, Nov 25 (IBNS): Three suspected Islamic State inspired terrorists were arrested from Srinagar, media reports said on Sunday.

The Delhi Police’s special cell and Jammu and Kashmir Police arrested the suspected terrorists, reports said.

According to reports, hand grenades and weapons were seized from them.

The three men were arrested from near a tourist information centre in Kothibagh near Srinagar in a joint operation, deputy commissioner of police, special cell, Pramod Kushwah was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times.

The arrested people have been identified as Tahir Ali Khan from Tral, Haris Mushtaq Khan from Budgam and Asif Suhail Nadaf. 

“They are being questioned to know motives and source of weapons,” an officer told the news channel.
