Sushant Singh Rajput death: Showik Chakraborty, Samuel Miranda sent to NCB custody till Sept 9

A local court in Mumbai on Saturday sent Rhea Chakraborty's brother Showik Chakraborty and Sushant Singh Rajput's house manager Samuel Miranda to Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB)'s custody till Sept 9.

They were arrested in connection with the drugs probe linked to actor Rajput's death.

The two were arrested by the NCB under various sections of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances act, on Friday night.

They were produced in the court amid heavy police bandobast.

Meanwhile, mediapersons and others are not allowed inside the court premises due to Covid-induced restrictions.

Shocking his fans, Sushant was found dead in his Mumbai residence in June.
