Suspected militant nabbed in Kashmir

Srinagar, Nov 10 (IBNS): Police on Tuesday said one suspected militant has been nabbed here in South Kashmir's Anantnag district after he stabbed a security men and tried to snatch his service refile.
Resident of Khudwani area of Anantnag, Tariq Ahmad Bhat, stabbed a police constable of Railways and tried to snatch his weapon.
 
After the incident, shopkeepers had put down shutters in the area and run for the safety.
 
In the last few months, there has been a rise in incidents of weapons being snatched by militants in the Valley, particularly in south Kashmir.
