New Delhi/Chennai, Oct 12 (IBNS): Tamil Nadu deputy chief minister O Panneerselvan met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Thursday, according to media reports.

He was accompanied by AIADMK leaders -- Rajya Sabha MP V. Maitreyan, former Tamil Nadu minister KP Munusamy and former MP Manoj Pandian.

The former CM and now deputy, Panneerselvam, denied holding any political discussion with the PM, media reports said.

This was his first meeting with the PM after the two factions of AIADMK patched their rift and merged.
