Telangana: BJP leader murdered

Khammam/UNI: BJP RTI Cell convener was brutally murdered by unknown persons at Wyra in this district early hours on Saturday.

According to police, the deceased was identified as N Rama Rao.

Two persons, who were wearing helmets, came on motorcycle and attacked him with sickles after entering into his house. Later they fled on the motorcycle.

The seriously injured Rama Rao was rushed to the Government Hospital here where the doctors declared him brought dead.

A case has been registered and an investigation is on, police added.

Ramarao used to file petitions in courts against fraud and irregularities after obtaining information through the Right to Information Act, 2005.
