Three civilians, cop injured in Kashmir grenade attack

Srinagar, Sept 24 (IBNS): At least three civilians and one police personnel were wounded in a grenade blast in Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday.

According to reports, suspected militants hurled grenade on Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) camp near State Bank of India Branch which missed the target and exploded on the road, resulting in the injuries to three civilians and one police personnel.

The injured were shifted to Sub-District Hospital Sopore for treatment where the condition of all of them is stated to be stable.

Soon after the attack, police and army launched a joint search operation in the nearby areas to track the involved persons.
