Uttar Pradesh: 2 die, 1 injured as bike collides with truck

Ballia/UNI: Two youths were killed and one more was injured when a motorcycle collided with a truck in Ubhaon area of Ballia district here in Uttar Pradesh, police sources said here on Tuesday.

Police sources said that the incident occurred when Ankit (19), a resident of Panisara Haldirampur, along with his friends Chandan (20) and Amar (24) was returning from the funeral late on Monday night.

"Near Narala village their motorcycle collided with the truck coming from Belthara road," they said.

Police sources said that the trio was taken to the community health center where doctors declared Ankit and Chandan dead.

"Amar has been admitted to the district hospital. The bodies have been sent for post mortem examination," they said.
