Uttar Pradesh: Man kills ex-girlfriend, chops body into 6 parts, arrested

Azamgarh/IBNS: Days after horrific Delhi murder incident came to light, a man from Uttar Pradesh's Azamgarh has been arrested for allegedly killing his ex-girlfriend and chopping her body into six parts, media reports said.

Prince Yadav allegedly killed the woman, who has been identified as Aradhana, for marrying someone else over him.

Reportedly, Prince took Aradhana to a temple on his bike on Nov 9.

When the two reached there, Prince, with the help of his cousin Sarvesh, strangled her in a sugarcane field.

The two then cut her body into six pieces, packed them in a polythene bag and threw it into a well.

They threw the woman's head in a pond which was some distance away.

The incident came to light on Nov 15 after some locals found the body in a semi-naked condition in the well.

The incident came to light days after the country was shaken by the horrific incident where a 28-year-old Delhi man allegedly killed his live-in partner, chopped her body into 35 parts, stored them in a fridge and slowly dumped them across the city.
