Uttar Pradesh: Road accident claims 4 lives in Aligarh

Aligarh, Jun 17 (UNI): Four women were killed while 20 others sustained serious injuries in a truck and tractor trolley collision in the Charra area of this district in Uttar Pradesh, police sources said on Monday.

According to sources, several local people were on their way to Narora Ganga ghat for a ritual in two tractor-trolleys from Akrabad when a speeding truck rammed into a tractor-trolley at Rukhala village, late on Sunday night.

Rajbala (50), Shivkumari (55) were killed on the spot while Kishan Kumari (57) and Rajni (55) succumbed to their injuries while receiving treatment at a hospital.

The critically injured 20 people have been admitted to the JN Medical College for treatment.
